Biography
Marc Albert, Vice President of Engineering & Metrology at Avalon Test Equipment and member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, drives strategic planning, innovation, and technical excellence across multiple laboratory locations supporting a national customer base. Marc leads engineering operations, procedure development, automation initiatives, and metrology strategy, ensuring Avalon remains at the forefront of complex calibration solutions and industry advancement.
Previously serving as both Quality Manager and Lab Manager, Marc led Avalon through its first ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation audit and has since expanded the accredited scope significantly. His extensive expertise in RF and general-purpose calibration, calibration software development, and test equipment repair has proved essential for company growth and industry recognition. A former U.S. Navy Calibration Technician and 2M (Miniature/Microminiature) technician, Marc brings deep technical rigor and a culture of precision to every aspect of laboratory operations. Marc is an active trainer focused on fiber optics and telecom field testing, and is trusted by OEMs such as Narda, EXFO, and Kaelus to deliver authorized service and support—further expanding Avalon’s technical capabilities and national reach.
