Richard Roddis

Richard has dedicated over 39 years to the field of metrology, beginning his journey with Datron Wavetek in the UK. Twenty-eight years ago, he relocated to the United States, and for the past 25 years, he has been an integral part of Fluke Calibration. Throughout his career, Richard has held various roles in both sales and marketing. During his time in the UK, he served as the product manager for several key instruments, including the Wavetek 9100 Multiproduct Calibrator, 9500 Oscilloscope Calibrator, and 7000 DC Voltage Reference.

He has been a prominent speaker at numerous local and national NCSLI conferences as well as Measurement Science Conference, he has traveled extensively for work across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Currently, Richard serves as the Strategic Account Manager at Fluke Calibration.

Academically, Richard holds a BSc in Electronic System Engineering from Kingston University in London and an MBA from the Open University. During his studies at Kingston, he lived in a flat across from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL)—an institution that would later play a significant role in shaping his career and life.
