Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to provide insight and guidance in the selection of decision rules, not by pushing or criticizing any specific decision rule, but by carefully discussing fundamental decision rule concepts based on the latest international standards. This presentation will not be about mathematics but rather about the importance of statements of conformity and the thought process in selecting decision rules. This presentation is built around the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and can help both customer and supplier in the discussion of decision rules.
