Abstract

A survey of Fortune 500 companies indicated Leadership is concerned about Sustainability and Risk Managment.

  •  Workshop – Form into groups and apply some of the Evaluation Tools.

  • Is often delegated (internal audit, risk management function, etc.) 
  • Resulting in less visibility to the senior executives.
  • 50% have no enterprise risk management in place.
  • 20% describe their risk management as “mature” or “robust.”
  • 45% have no structure for identifying and reporting risk to the board.
  • 38% do no formal risk assessment when developing strategy.

Mark Lindsey

Mark Lindsey possesses an ASE, BSIT, & MBA, Has been active in the MSC for 9 years as a presenter and committee member. Is an ASQ CSSBB, CMQ-OE, CQE, & CQA. Been active with ASQ0701 Section for 30+ years and served as a Vice Chair, Education Chair, and Instructor. Last 11 years Part-time Professor at CSUF teaching Quality Management, Project Management, and Operations Management. Utilized by other Training Organizations for in-house training in a variety of topics such as Lean-Six Sigma and AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Process Capability, PPAP). Has worked as a Quality Engineer in various industries (i.e. Aerospace/Defense, Electronics Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, and Amusement/Recreation). The last 22 years Mark has been a full-time Cast Member at the Disneyland Resort as a Principal Engineer •Assigned to Quality Assurance to support Attractions (i.e. spare parts, overhauls, supplier quality, new attractions and other projects).
