Abstract

Explore the evolution of temperature calibration from history to modern standards and learn how to build a complete, compliant solution using heat sources, reference thermometers, and measurement systems.

Abstract Details:

This session provides a comprehensive introduction to temperature calibration for lab professionals and end users, taking participants from the historical foundations of temperature measurement to today’s modern standards, including ITS-90 and ISO/IEC 17025. Attendees will gain an understanding of key calibration concepts, explore the evolution of calibration techniques, and learn how to build a complete temperature calibration solution—covering heat sources, reference thermometers, and measurement systems. With a practical, step-by-step approach, this training equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to implement reliable, compliant temperature calibrations in real-world laboratory and industrial settings.
